Some day in the not to distant future planets will spin out of orbit and collide The universe will rock under God’s hand of judgment from side to side Suns will go super nova expending all the pent up energy that within them resides Sweeping all away like so many sand castles in the grip of a fast rising tide
This wave of celestial fire will inundate all consuming what’s left of time and space Including our little blue green rock earth the much vaunted home of the human race That same wave will engulf the earth who despite protest will vanish without a trace A cycle of death sustained by sin which grew exponentially after our fall from grace
Science got the big bang theory backwards, not creation’s beginning but it’s end Reason dictates that all we see and feel, matter, toward ultimate dissolution tends A physical law of the universe which not the greatest mind has ever been able to bend Which will be verified as truth positive when the final curtain on creation descends
Nothing will change the shape of things to come, it’s a certainty, it will take place You’d have no doubt about this event if you could but see the look on God’s face Intent on starting with a clean slate just like the old which He must first sadly erase Thus eliminating the curse which infected all of God’s creation in it’s foul embrace
It will not as we suspect come as a complete surprise, we’ll have time for a last good cry As God looks at those of us who are left we’ll just want to curl up in a ball and die Now able to see the consequences of our billions of unforgiving sins reflected in His eyes Having waited to long to reconcile with our heavenly Father who must now bid you goodbye
Perhaps that’s why the bible points out that God’s wrath is an all consuming fire Coupled with our iniquity fostered by our pride that adds fuel to this cosmic funeral pyre But from these ashes will arise a new earth and heavens that’ll better suit God’s desires No more sin, death, war, sickness or the devil, a safe place for God’s saved children to retire
Which should be fair warning for those of us who have neglected or rejected Jesus Christ To consider again God’s invitation of eternal redemption for which His son paid the price You won’t get another chance, no reincarnation, you won’t go through the turnstiles twice God patiently awaits your answer, a simple I believe in you would be considered nice!
